Weeping willows, a covered bridge with a pond on either side, a big red barn, and old white farm house. Yes, this is real life.
When I was a senior, going somewhere besides a studio was a blossoming idea. I still love my senior photos but it never occurred me to I could go anywhere I desired which made it so fun to sit down with Amanda and figure out what style she was going for and to hear more about her story.
Amanda is super photogenic, stays busy with band at Clover High School, and is wanting to go to school for nursing. Even in the few short times we spent together I could see her caring and intuitive spirit that will take her far in a nursing career. Amanda also has great taste and picked out some of the cutest outfits, opting for a farm scene. She had seen some one of my engagement photos on my website and loved the location. It is one of my favorites as well and I was so excited to go back! We got it all set up to have our senior session at the Red Barn Farm in Sharon, SC and it was simply beautiful!
This sweet little farm is the most perfect little farm I ever did see. I came across it almost two years ago when looking for a venue for my wedding. Mr. Vaughn, the owner, was so kind to show me and my now husband around his farm (and house!) and allow us to do our engagement photos there even though it logistically didn’t end up working for us to get married there. Be on the look out for more information about the farm as they are working towards making it a venue for weddings and parties!
With so many gorgeous spots on the farm to choose from, Amanda and I had a fun exploring different areas. These photos don’t even come close to doing this venue justice. Amanda though….isn’t she stunning? She couldn’t take a bad photo if she wanted too = making my job easy!
A beautiful girl + a beautiful farm = some great senior photos! Enjoy!
